Conference OverviewOver 200 academic and industry representatives are expected at this meeting to discuss and share relevant topics on the first year engineering experience. Participants include college deans, department chairs, student service professionals, advisors, faculty in engineering and engineering technology, K-12 teachers, and industry leaders from throughout the country. |
Proposal Submission DescriptionProposal submissions will include:
Workshop proposals (maximum 3 pages) are being sought for a 90-minute interactive session on a topic of interest to the first year engineering community. Topics related to advising, first year student success, first year engineering programs, engineering education research, and K-12 engineering education are encouraged. Abstracts (300-500 words) for full papers and work-in-progress papers are being sought for the following topics of interest related to First Year Engineering but not limited to:

Note, some work-in-progress papers may be selected to participate in a new format of presentation that will include a round table discussion. This is to aid in getting feedback about your work and engage the first year engineering education community. You will be notified of this format after the peer review stage is complete. **All authors on a paper will be expected to participate in the review process. Check fyee.asee.org for up to date information about proposal submissions and registration. |
